Important limitations

Automations and automation step logic (triggers, actions, branches) cannot be read or restored via the ActiveCampaign API. Automations share links can be manually saved on the connections tab. Segment filter conditions, form builder configs, score rules, and user accounts are also not restorable programmatically. Everything in the Deals & Pipeline section is fully restorable in the correct restore order: pipelines → stages → deals → notes → tasks.

Why do I need this?
ActiveCampaign does not offer built-in backups or a way to undo bulk changes. If a team member accidentally deletes contacts, overwrites custom fields, or a bad automation wipes out data, there is no undo button. CRMRestore gives you a daily safety net so you can roll back to a clean state in one click, without waiting on support tickets or losing weeks of work.
What is a restore point?
A restore point is a complete snapshot of your ActiveCampaign account taken once every 24 hours. It captures your contacts, deals, tags, custom fields, lists, pipelines, and more. If something goes wrong, you can pick any restore point and bring your CRM back to exactly how it was at that moment.
Why are more restore points better?
Every day, CRMRestore takes a complete snapshot of your ActiveCampaign account. More restore points means a longer window to go back in time. With 7 restore points, you can recover data from any of the past 7 days. With 90 restore points, you have 3 months of history to choose from. If a mistake goes unnoticed for a few weeks, having more restore points gives you the safety net to recover clean data before the issue occurred.
How secure is my data?
  • All backups are encrypted at rest using AES-256, the same encryption standard used by banks and governments. All connections between CRMRestore and ActiveCampaign use HTTPS with TLS encryption. Only you can access your backup data and trigger restores
  • Your ActiveCampaign API credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption before being stored. They are never saved in plain text and are only decrypted in memory when needed to communicate with your ActiveCampaign account
  • CRMRestore uses a two-layer security gateway - after signing in, you must enter a personal 4-digit security PIN before accessing your dashboard. This second layer helps protect your account even if your login credentials are compromised through a phishing attack
Do you offer a free trial period?
We do not offer a free trial at this time. However, plans start at just $19/month and you can cancel anytime. Your first backup begins within minutes of connecting your ActiveCampaign account, so you will see the value right away.
Do you offer a 30 day money back guarantee?

If automations can't be restored, how do I manage this inside CRMRestore?
ActiveCampaign's API does not allow automations to be read or written programmatically, so they cannot be backed up or restored automatically. However, CRMRestore provides an Automation Share URLs feature in your dashboard where you can save the share link for each of your automations. This gives you a manual backup of your automation workflows that you can re-import into ActiveCampaign at any time.
If I have a Partner account, can my clients have direct access to CRMRestore?
The Partner plan is designed for agencies and consultants who manage backups on behalf of their clients. You connect and manage up to 25 ActiveCampaign accounts from your single Partner dashboard. Your clients do not have access to their own CRMRestore login. If direct client access is something your client needs, it is best for them to create and manage their own CRMRestore account.
